ILOILO City – A man charged with direct assault with less serious physical injuries was arrested in Barangay Lawaan, Roxas City.

Furniture maker Salvador Bergantillos Jr., a resident of Barangay Dingginan, Roxas City, was taken to the Roxas City police station.

He was later released after posting a P10,000 bail bond, police said.

Bergantillos hid for 14 years until his arrest at around 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 12, said the police.
