DoubleDragon 9-month core revenues surge to P20.78B on global Hotel101 expansion

DOUBLEDRAGON Corporation (DD) reported unprecedented financial growth for the first nine months of 2026, driven by a record surge in foreign currency revenues and the accelerated global expansion of its flagship prop-tech hospitality brand, Hotel101.

For the first time in corporate history, DoubleDragon achieved P20.78 billion in total consolidated revenues — a 98.76% increase year-on-year — comprising 100% pure core operating revenues with zero revaluation gains. Core revenues surged 143.65% compared to the same period in 2025.

The real estate and investment holding company reported a 253.59% year-on-year jump in Core Net Income, reaching P3.91 billion for the nine-month period. Its third-quarter net income alone rose more than six-fold to P1.13 billion, compared to P183.67 million in the third quarter of 2025.

Overseas operations played a transformative role in the company’s financial results. Foreign currency revenues accounted for the majority — 59.03% — of quarterly total core revenues. A major milestone during the period was the opening of Hotel101 Global’s sold-out prototype project in Madrid, Spain, featuring 680 operating rooms.

Hotel101 Global’s business model generates revenues and income twice, firstly from sale of units, and secondly generates recurring revenues from hotel operations. DoubleDragon Corporation is expected to become one of the major US dollar currency inflow generator to the Philippine economy

Strong Financial Position and Asset Quality

As of September 30, 2026, DoubleDragon’s total assets reached P256.82 Billion, increasing by P31.56 billion from P225.26 billion as of December 31, 2025. Total equity expanded by P5.41 billion to reach P107.02 billion.

Unlike traditional real estate developers, DoubleDragon highlighted its uniquely defensive portfolio structure: zero ongoing residential condominium project under development in its portfolio and zero exposure to the large BPO locators.

Strategic Outlook and 2035 Vision

DoubleDragon expects core revenue growth to maintain its upward trajectory through the second half of 2026, supported by steady leasing income from leasing portfolios, new mall openings, new warehouses, new office tenants, new MerryMart supermarkets, and continued international unit sales of Hotel101 projects in the Philippines and overseas.

As the first and only Filipino enterprise to have a subsidiary listed on the U.S. NASDAQ Stock Exchange, DoubleDragon continues to tap global capital markets to fund its pipeline toward its asset-light vision of operating one million standardized Hotel101 rooms across over 100 countries.

Following its strong nine-month operating run, DoubleDragon announced it is now on track to achieve its long-term target of P500 billion in Total Core Revenue ahead of its original 2035 schedule./PN
