ILOILO City – A laborer fatally shot his younger brother during a drinking binge in Barangay Tuble, San Dionisio, Iloilo.
The 42-year-old Sandy Agsalana succumbed to a gunshot wound on the chest, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was Sandy’s 50-year-old brother Rene.
From what the San Dionisio police gathered so far, Rene reportedly asked permission to go to his friend in Barangay Dugman, San Dionisio. However, Sandy refused to allow to his brother because he was already inebriated.
Rene allegedly got irked and shot Sandy around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 21.
The victim was rushed to the Sara District hospital but the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the municipal police station conducted a manhunt operation against the suspect, who fled after the incident./PN
