BACOLOD City – In Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental, a man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation.
He was the 23-year-old Andrew Philip Bistis of Barangay Bagonbon, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
Bistis was caught around 2 p.m. on June 29 after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P300.
When frisked, Bistis yielded one more sachet containing the same substance valued to be worth about P5,000.
Police also confiscated a cellphone and a motorcycle from the suspect.
Bistis was detained at the Salvador Benedicto police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
