JORDAN, Guimaras – In Sitio Kati-kati, Barangay San Miguel here, a drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation.
An undercover police officer was able to buy from Norman Tahan a plastic sachet of suspected shabu for P500 around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, according to the police.
Five more sachets were recovered from the suspect.
Tahan was placed under surveillance prior to the buy-bust.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said Tahan was in its list of high-value drug suspects.
Tahan was taken to the Jordan police station. He would be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The buy-bust operation was carried out by the Jordan police station, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office, and PDEA./PN
