ROXAS City – A 21-year-old drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation of the Capiz Police Provincial Office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) in Barangay Banica here on Sunday.
Jamaica Cello was a resident of Barangay Tanza. She yielded eight sachets of suspected shabu, according to the PDEU.
This was not the first time Cello was subjected to a buy-bust. She was entrapped on January 2020 in Kalibo, Aklan, according to the PDEU.
Cello, however, was released after a plea bargaining agreement, it added.
The PDEU was readying a complaint against Cello for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
