ILOILO City – Two persons were nabbed while another eluded arrest in a drug operation in Barangay Bayuyan, Estancia, Iloilo.
Resident Almar Antone, 29, and Ivan Buenaflor, 31, of the town’s Barangay Daan Banwa were caught around 12:05 a.m. yesterday, a police report showed.
The suspect at large was Michael Dan Andeza.
The men initially sold one big sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P17,500, police said.
Sixteen more sachets of the prohibited substance valued at P238,000 were recovered from their possession.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the three suspects./PN
