BACOLOD City – Two suspects were arrested in separate police antidrug operations in this city.
Suspected shabu valued at around P9,000 was recovered from 27-year-old Marco Garcia, police said.
Garcia – resident of Barangay 30 – was nabbed in an entrapment operation around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, the police added. He was now detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 6.
At around 6 a.m., 36-year-old Joey Aliboga of Barangay Banago was also arrested. He yielded suspected illegal drugs valued at around P150,000. Aliboga was detained in Police Station 3’s custodial facility.
The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
