Drug suspect yields P380K ‘shabu’

ILOILO City – Fifty-six grams of suspected shabu valued at P380,000 were seized during a drug buy-bust operation in Zone 3, Barangay San Juan, Molo district around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

The 36-year-old suspect Rayan Ediza, single and a resident of the above-mentioned barangay, initially sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P2,100.

Joint elements of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) led by Police Lieutenant Marlon Perez and Molo police station led by Police Major Marlyn Roquero recovered 11 more sachets of suspected shabu.

Ediza was detained at the Molo police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
