ILOILO City – A house in Barangay Ma. Clara, Iznart Street, City Proper had been robbed, a police report showed.
The culprit took a digital camera owned by the foreigner resident, the 23-year-old Netherlands native Dave Van Balkum.
Balkum found his Canon EOS M3 with extra battery and case – all worth $767, or around P38,000 – missing at about 9 a.m. on Dec. 30, 2017, the report stated.
Investigators found the improvised hook of the padlock of the foreigner’s door destroyed.
Police were still trying to identify the culprit as of this writing./PN
