ILOILO City – Police arrested a resident of La Paz for pushing an electric tricycle.
The 42-year-old Lyle Van Clyde Maravilla of Barangay San Pedro was detained at the district police station.
Police Officer 2 Jan Joseph Bosque and Police Officer 3 Ronel Pa-ampag saw the incident at around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 24 while on standby in front of Andok’s restaurant in Barangay Laguda, a police report showed.
It was not clear why Maravilla pushed the e-trike. Police officers claimed he did it on a whim.
The e-tricycle fell on its side and incurred damage on the brakes, signal lights and cover.
The cost of damage was estimated at P1,000, the report further stated.
Police identified the e-tricycle driver as 34-year-old Orlin Taba of Barangay Aguinaldo, La Paz./PN
