BACOLOD City – Thirteen men and five minors were caught for alleged illegal fishing in the Sagay Marine Reserve in Sagay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspects as Roger Japitana, 27; Argie Revamonte, 29; Denis Gargar, 32; Angelito Revamonte, 56; Rodel Amante, 31; Rodolfo Amion, 23; John Paul Amante, 20; Maysol Mingasca, 25; Brian Mingasca, 21; Loyd Prietos, 23; Argie Bayadog, 28; Renante Solitario, 41; Romel Bayadog, 20; and five minors.
The suspects – all residents of Barangay Washington, Escalante City, Negros Occidental – were apprehended on Feb. 10.
They were brought to the lockup facility of the Sagay City police station./PN
