BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Tangub faces charges for violation of Presidential Decree 705, or the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines.
The 41-year-old Anthony Alob was caught engaging in illegal logging, police said.
He was arrested around 7:10 p.m. on Feb. 11.
Alob was detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 8.
A P30,000 bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
