BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Magsaysay, Escalante City, Negros Occidental was arrested for the charge of two counts of rape.
Rico Amante, 49, was caught at around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 16 in Barangay Concepcion, Talisay City.
The Regional Intelligence Unit of Police Regional Office 6 served the arrest warrant signed by Judge Leonardo Facultad of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 69 dated Jan. 11, 2023.
The suspect was taken to the Victorias City police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
