ILOILO City – Police arrested a 61-year-old man facing estafa charges in Barangay Alacaygan, Banate, Iloilo.
Soledad Bernales, a resident of the village, was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 10 a.m. on Nov. 11, police said.
Bernales was detained in the lockup cell of the Banate municipal police station.
The court recommended an P18,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
