BACOLOD City – A former officer of the Philippine National Police is in the watch list of the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) on illegal gambling.
BCPO director Senior Superintendent Jack Wanky refused to name the former police officer.
He said BCPO is having a hard time apprehending the former officer who finances an illegal gambling activity in the city.
Only their collectors were arrested, Wanky said.
The BCPO head believes this illegal gambling operation financer is not alone.
Wanky said they will reveal the name once they have gathered enough evidence charge the former officer.
Chief Superintendent Edmund Gonzales, director of the Police Regional Office 18, issued BCPO an ultimatum to stop illegal gambling in the city./PN
