MANILA ā€“ F2 Logistics Cargo Movers continued its hot start in the Chooks To Go – Philippine Superliga Grand Prix with a 25-21, 25-19, 25-17 win over Generika-Ayala Lifesavers at the San Juan Arena.
Imports Kennedy Bryan and Maria Jose Perez led the way with 14 markers apiece for the Cargo Movers on Thursday night.

With the win, the team moved up to solo first place in the standings with 4-0 win-loss slate.
The Cargo Movers actually had a slow start in the first set trailing 8-13 until they went on a 7-0 run behind Bryan and Perez to snatch the lead.

The Lifesavers was able to force a 20-all deadlock but their miscues allowed the Cargo Movers to take the set.
Lifesavers again had an early lead in the second frame but the Cargo Movers turned to Perez to take control of the game at 17-13.

In the third set, the Cargo Movers jumped to a quick 9-4 lead on conversions from Pere and Bryan. The Lifesavers tried to make some run midway in the set but hits from Ilongga Abigail Marano and Kim Dy ended the match for the Cargo Movers.
ā€œAng magandang nakikita ko saĀ team is nakaka-recover sila sa mistakes,ā€ said Cargo Movers head coach Ramil de Jesus. ā€œHopefully mas mabilis pa kaming maka-adjust in our next games.ā€
