ILOILO City – Charged with “falsification of private documents,” a resident of Barangay New Buswang, Kalibo, Aklan was arrested.
Officers from Ivisan, Capiz caught Ireneo Barredo Jr., 50, on Roxas Avenue, Kalibo at around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, a police report showed.
Barredo was served with an arrest warrant issued by Presiding Judge Carlos C. Fernando of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities Branch 2 (Mandaue City) on Oct. 20.
The court recommended a P12,000 bail bond for the suspect’s temporary liberty.
It was not clear as of this writing whether or not Barredo has posted bail./PN
