ILOILO City – A 68-year-old foreigner was found dead inside his house in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district.
The body was that of Finnish national Paavo Vartiainen, police said.
Vartiainen’s body – already in the state of decomposition – was found inside his room by his helper around 9:30 a.m. yesterday, the police added.
Responding police officers did not find any wounds on Vartiainen’s body suggestive of murder.
They have yet to rule out foul play in the incident as of this writing./PN
