Fire hits Molo building, leaves P50-K damage

ILOILO City – Properties worth an estimated P50,000 went up in smoke after fire hit a three-storey building in Barangay West Timawa, Molo district.

The blaze broke out around 6:56 a.m. on Wednesday, according to fire investigators. It originated from the ground floor of St. Jude Tadeos building occupied by coffee and milk tea shops.

The second floor of the building that serves as a boardinghouse was partially damaged.  

No persons got injured or died in the blaze.

The Bureau of Fire Protection has yet to determine the cause of the fire as of this writing./PN
