ILOILO City – Three business stalls went up in smoke in Barangay Camalig, Jaro district around 11:30 a.m. on Aug. 24.
The stalls were owned by Ruddy Mar Dagle and Crizelle Jane Dagle of Sitio Ilaya, Barangay Tabuc Suba, Jaro (motorcycle parts shop, vulcanizing shop and poultry supply), and Edelyn Pineda (eatery).
The fire started at Pineda’s kitchen, initial investigation showed.
Because the stalls were made of light materials, the fire quickly spread.
“Indi pa gid ko ya kapati. Ang gin pundar namon nasunog lang,” said Ruddy Mar Dagle.
The Bureau of Fire Protection has yet to determine the cause of the fire./PN
