Fish vendor falls in drug op

BACOLOD City – After selling suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500, a fish vendor was arrested in Barangay II, Manapla, Negros Occidental.

The 34-year-old resident Jemar Vicentino Sunga was caught around 7:20 p.m. on July 10, a police report showed.

Three sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P3,500 were recovered from the suspect, the report added.

Sunga was detained in the lockup cell of the Manapla municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
