BACOLOD City – A fish vendor was arrested in an antidrug operation in Barangay 2, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental around 10:08 a.m. yesterday, May 22.
Suspect Reynaldo Tayting Dela Cruz Jr., alias “Reboy”, 35, was collared by the Station Drug Enforcement Team of the La Carlota City Police Station.
He was the No. 4 drug personality in La Carlota City.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Lowell Garinganao, chief of La Carlota City police, said Dela Cruz sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P500.
Also recovered were two big, heat-sealed plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less eight grams and valued at around P54,400.
The suspect is currently held by the La Carlota City police and faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
