ROXAS City – A fisherman was found dead yesterday in a beach in Pilar, Capiz.
Police identified him as the 45-year-old Perlan Garcia of Barangay Casanayan, Pilar.
Brother Perbert – also a fisherman – discovered Garcia’s body, floating on the sea near his fishing boat, a police report showed.
Perbert said he last saw his brother alive the night prior when they had a drinking binge at the same beach.
That night, Perbert decided to go home while Garcia stayed and slept in his boat, police said.
A post-mortem examination will be conducted on the body.
The Pilar police station was looking into Perbert’s involvement in his brother’s death./PN
