BECAUSE of its commitment to supply safe and reliable potable water to the consuming public within the service area of the Metro Iloilo Water District (MIWD), Flo Water Resources Iloilo, Inc. (Flo Water) has developed, at tremendous cost and effort, the infrastructure needed for its water supply services.
Over the years, Flo Water has invested hundreds of millions of pesos in its effort to constantly meet the burgeoning demands of the consuming public.
Flo Water has not waivered, and has no intention to waiver, from its commitment to the public.
Amidst the challenges brought about by the ongoing contractual disputes between the parties, and despite the mounting losses that Flo Water has incurred (and continues to incur), Flo Water has remained steadfast and true to its commitment.
For these reasons, Flo Water has no intention to sell its water business to the Metro Pacific Group of Companies contrary to an article published in Panay News on December 5, 2016.
Flo Water has a continuing commitment to its legacy to the City of Iloilo, and this legacy is not – and will never be – up for sale./PN
