ILOILO City – A 25-year-old foreigner was sent behind bars yesterday for allegedly hurting club bouncers in Boracay, a police report showed.
The police report identified Agustin Eliseo Grande as an Argentine living in Villa de Oro, Barangay Balabag in the island.
Boracay Tourist Assistance Center officers arrested Grande at around 3 a.m. at Epic Bar and detained him at their station.
Bouncers Ronald Coching and Eric Venus said they were responding to a commotion on the dance floor when Grande attacked them.
Coching said Grande struck him with a broken glass on the forehead while Venus claimed the foreigner punched him on the face, the police report stated.
Grande was facing charges for physical injuries./PN
