PRICES of fuel will rise anew today, August 26, with a range of P0.30 to P0.70 per liter.
In an advisory, Petron and Seaoil said gasoline prices would increase by P0.70 per liter, diesel by P0.50 per liter, and kerosene by P0.30 per liter, effective 6 a.m.
Jetti Petroleum, in a separate advisory, said prices of its gasoline products would increase by P0.70 per liter and diesel by P0.50 per liter.
PTT Philipines will also increase at the same level.
“These adjustments reflect the movement of prices of refined fuel products, freight and market premiums in the international market,” Jetti Petroleum said.
This week’s increase is the second consecutive week that oil prices have jumped across the board.
Before this, only the gasoline prices were unchanged due in part to foreign exchange movements, supply and demand issues, and the impact of geopolitical developments overseas. (PNA)
