ILOILO City – A 48-year-old wanted man was arrested in Barangay Calaparan, Arevalo district after eight years of hiding from the police.
From his house, robbery suspect Joel Gamalamdo was taken to the Arevalo police station on Nov. 21 around 5 p.m.
Judge Roger Patricio of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 38 issued the suspect’s arrest warrant.
As of this writing, it was unclear if Gamalamdo was able to post bail.
The court set the bail bond at P24,000 for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
