ILOILO City – Another illegal gambling suspect was arrested in Iloilo province, this time in the component city of Passi.
The 41-year-old Renato Flores is a resident of Barangay Mantulang, Passi City, a police report stated.
Officers caught him soliciting bets for the illegal numbers game “bookies” at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday in Barangay Cadilang, Passi City.
Bet money amounting to P300 and gambling paraphernalia were recovered from him, the police report showed.
Flores was taken to the Passi City police station./PN
