Global Business Power gives back to La Paz district schools

GLOBAL Business Power Corporation (GBP), in partnership with the Office of the Vice Mayor, recently sponsored 1,500 sets of notebooks and pencils to La Paz District schools.

As part of GBP’s Bulig-Tuon scholarship program and other corporate social responsibility efforts, the activity aims to provide assistance to underprivileged public school students of Iloilo City.  The student beneficiaries come from Graciano Lopez Jaena Elementary School, Nabitasan Elementary Schoo, La Paz 1 Elementary School l and NJ Ingore Elementary School.

Global Business Power owns and operates 164 MW and 150 MW coal-fired power plants that utilize the latest Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) or “clean coal” technology and houses the 92 MW Panay Power Corporation diesel plants in La Paz./PN
