BACOLOD City – A man was killed while his live-in partner was injured after a grenade exploded inside their house in Barangay Cabahug, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
The fatality was identified as resident Boyet Celiz, a police report showed.
His live-in partner Leslie Prudente meanwhile sustained injuries on the body, it added.
According to police investigation, Celiz and Prudente were having a heated argument. This prompted Celiz to pull out a fragmentation grenade around 11:50 p.m. on May 10.
Prudente was brought to the Cadiz City District Hospital for medical treatment.
Officers of the Cadiz City police station have yet to determine where Celiz get his grenade./PN
