ROXAS City – A routine night security check of tricycles in Barangay Baybay netted a knife and suspected shabu.
The items were recovered from tricycle passenger Manuel Roa who worked as a security guard and a resident of Barangay Dumulog here.
There were three other passengers in the tricycle but they told the apprehending Police Master Sergeant Mark Acejo and barangay tanods that they were not companions of Roa.
Acejo and the tanods became suspicious of Roa who was listless. He was body-searched.
Roa was taken to the police station. He faces a charge for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
