ILOILO City – In Barangay San Rafael, Mandurriao district here, a gunrunning suspect was arrested in an entrapment operation.
Vicdam Dagatan, 43, a resident of Barangay Calmay, Janiuay, Iloilo, was caught around 12:01 a.m. yesterday.
He yielded a .38-caliber revolver loaded with five bullets, police said.
Ten sachets of suspected shabu were also recovered from him.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) and Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) will be filed against him./PN
