ILOILO City – For possessing unlicensed firearms, a man was arrested in Barangay Manguna, Cabatuan, Iloilo.
A 12-gauge shotgun, a 38-caliber revolver and assorted live bullets were seized from resident Edwin Jomelogo, a police report showed.
Armed with an arrest warrant, policemen of Cabatuan staged Jomelogo’s apprehension around 7:15 a.m. on Oct. 6.
The suspect was brought to the municipal police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
