BACOLOD City – A habal-habal (motorcycle) driver was shot dead in Moises Padilla town.
Dante Bahala, 27, of Sitio Balunggay, Barangay Montilla, Moises Padilla had multiple gunshot wounds on the body.
Police believe the incident was related to illegal drugs. Bahala was on the police’s new list of drug personalities.
Bahala was sitting along the road around 3 p.m. Monday when seven unidentified people approached him.
He ran and tried to escape, but the suspects chased him and fired at him several times. He died on the spot, Senior Inspector Allan Reloj said./PN
