BACOLOD City – A 41-year-old resident of Barangay Tangub was hacked for not paying a man he hired for construction work.

Reyve Doloso of Gardenville Subdivision was wounded on the neck. He was taken to the South Bacolod General Hospital.

His attacker, 33-year-old Rainer Doloso of the same barangay, fled.

On Sunday evening, Rainer went to the house of Reyve to ask for his pay, but the latter failed to release it, police said.

This resulted in an altercation followed by the hacking. The suspect used a grass cutter.

It was not immediately clear if the suspect and the victim were related./PN
