SAN JOSE, Antique – Around 20 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) exhibitors joined the Antique Harvest Fair to promote local products in the province.
Rhoda Pon-an, director of the Antique Development Foundation, Inc., said they have invited 20 MSME exhibitors from all over the province to participate in the fair that formally opens today, March 20.
The Bagtason Loom Weavers Association from Bugasong, Antique was among the local producers that will display and sell their hand-woven fabrics in the six-day fair, said Pon-an.
“There will also be the MSMEs from the municipality of Tibiao that would display their abaca fiber textile and the coffee makers from Sibalom,”she said.
The event, which will run until March 26, is a partnership of Department of Tourism and the Antique provincial government.
“We invite Antiqueños to come visit the display of products at Robinson’s Mall and patronize it to help the MSMEs,” Pon-an said. (With a report from PNA/PN)
