BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay 26 allegedly stole a car battery charger in Royal Palm Subdivision, Barangay Taculing.
No less than the owner caught Dante Jemenez, 34, taking the item away, police said.
Romulo Panisa, 71, told the police he found his shop already open and his car battery charger missing on Wednesday.
Panisa went to look for it. He was about 15 meters from his house when he saw Jemenez carrying the item, police said.
He and bystanders arrested Jemenez and called the police. Responding officers seized the item from the suspect.
