ILOILO City – An enraged neighbor tried to kill him, a man from Barangay San Antonio, Molo district reported to the police.
Ferdinand Cabales – a 24-year-old resident of Barangay Pali, Mandurriao temporarily staying in Molo – was just talking to carpenters building a house around 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday when Jerry Cordero snapped at him. “Nagay ka da komentar kay wala ka da labot (That is none of your business),” Cordero told Cabales, a police report stated.
An altercation ensued. Cordero then grabbed a knife from their kitchen and trained it at Cabales. “Diputa ka karon, patyon ta ka. Tawga to pamilya mo kay patyon ta kamo tanan (I’ll kill you, you son of a bitch. Call your family and I’ll kill you all),” Cordero told Cabales, the police report stated.
Fortunately, his relatives pacified Cordero./PN
