BUGASONG, Antique – A resident of Barangay Zaragosa was hospitalized. He was stabbed in the stomach.
The stabbing of 34-year-old Reno Felipe happened on Wednesday, 7:10 a.m., a day after a heated confrontation with 63-year-old suspect Bernardo Alvarez, also of Barangay Zaragosa.
Felipe was brought to the Bugasong Medicare Community Hospital.
Alvarez, on the other hand, was arrested by Bugasong policemen and taken to the municipal police station.
It was unclear as of this writing if Felipe would be pressing charges against Alvarez./PN
