ILOILO City – In Barangay Maite, Lambunao, Iloilo, a man was stabbed by his helper.
Police identified the helper only as a certain “Norlie.”
The suspect escaped after the incident. Officers subjected him to a manhunt.
It was not immediately clear what the motive was.
The victim, 42-year-old Gelenderio Diaz, is a resident of Barotac Nuevo town.
He was taken to the Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial District Hospital in Lambunao for the treatment of his stab wound on the left hand.
The incident happened at around 9 p.m. on Sunday, police said./PN
