HERCOR College clinched the tertiary and secondary boys titles of the 2018 CAPRISAA Meet basketball tournament at the Capiz Gym in Roxas City on Sunday.
The Jaguars captured their 10th consecutive CAPRISAA basketball titles after sweeping Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion Saints in their two-game tertiary men series.
Hercor pulled the plug on the Saints with a 79-58 victory in their first encounter before executing an 87-57 domination in their next face-off to solidify their victory.
The Junior Jaguars, on the other hand, dominated the secondary boys category by defeating the Junior Saints in the gold medal match behind the strong showing of Raffy Arguelles.
Prior to the championship win, the Jay Pisuena-mentored Junior Jaguars have bested all of their elimination round opponents in dominant fashion.
Meanwhile Purisima captured the elementary boys basketball title after routing Capiz Commercial School in the one-game finale.
The champions will represent Capiz in the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Association Meet./PN
