BACOLOD City – Police arrested a “high-value” target in a drug sting operation in Barangay 32.
Ten sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P45,000 were seized from 35-year-old Rommel Jamero of Barangay 27, a police report showed.
Jamero was arrested after he sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P300 on July 15, the report added.
Aside from suspected shabu, a .38-caliber revolver with ammunition, a weighing scale, and a coin purse were also recovered from the suspect, police said.
Jamero was detained in the custodial facility of Police Station 1, facing charges./PN
