BACOLOD City – A 27-year-old man tagged as a high-value suspect was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation conducted by the Bacolod City Police Office’s City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) in Purok Kahirup, Barangay Singcang-Airport here, around 12:33 a.m. on May 8.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Antonio Benitez Jr., chief of the CDEU, identified the suspect as alias “Ati”, married, and a resident of Barangay Bata in this city.
A total of 145 grams of suspected shabu worth about P986,000 were confiscated from the suspect.
The suspect is now under the custody of BCPO. Charges for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of the Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against him.
