ANTIQUE – A high-value drug suspect was arrested in a drug sting operation in Barangay Poblacion, Anini-y town on Tuesday evening, May 14.
Police identified the suspect as alias “Mar,” 54 years old, and a resident of the aforementioned barangay.
Joint operatives of the Anini-y Municipal Police Station (MPS), Antique Police Provincial Office’s Drug Enforcement Unit, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) recovered 15 grams of suspected shabu valued at approximately 102,000, buy-bust money, cigarettes, and lighter.
The suspect was detained in the Anini-y MPS’ custodial facility.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him./PN
