ILOILO City – Sixteen years of hiding were over for an attempted homicide suspect from Kalibo, Aklan.
The 37-year-old Rodney Tampos was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Kalibo.
Officers served him a warrant of arrest before taking him to the Kalibo police station where he was detained on Monday, a police report showed.
Judge Eulado Masangcay of the Municipal Circuit Trial Court (Kalibo) issued the warrant on Sept. 25, 2001. Tampos hid since, police said.
A P12,000 bail bond was set for the suspect’s temporary liberty./PN
