BACOLOD City – A man hacked his wife in Barangay Tuguis, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
He was 45-year-old resident Estele Saldoa, a police report showed.
According to the police, Estele and his 37-year-old wife Bea have a heated argument which prompted the former to hack his wife around 7 p.m. on July 19.
Bea sustained hack wounds on the body, police said.
She was brought to the Hinigaran Emergency Clinic but was later transferred to the Corazon Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in this city for treatment.
Estele, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup cell of the Hinigaran municipal police station./PN
