ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) asked Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog for help in filling its P13-million building on General Luna Street with equipment, furniture and other fixtures.
Among those the ICPO requested from the City Mayor’s Office are 11 executive tables (regular size); 11 executive chairs (regular size); 49 office tables (ordinary); 57 office chairs (ordinary); three sofa sets; a refrigerator; 22 computers with printers; 13 air-conditioning units; three 32-inch televisions; 25 steel filing cabinets (with three drawers); five scanners;
A paper shredder; a whiteboard; 24 filing racks; three eight-seater conference table with chairs; two electric fans; a long table; a fax machine; a projector with board; a photocopier; 24 monobloc chairs; an AM/FM radio; and six window blinds.
“These may cost more or less P1,000,000,” Councilor Joshua Alim, committee on police matters chairman, told Panay News.
The ICPO building was inaugurated on June 8. At the time, Mabilog said the city government is ready to provide for its equipment, furniture and other fixtures./PN
