ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) and Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) have been Safety Seal-certified by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The Safety Seal Certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms an establishment’s compliance to the minimum public health standards set by the government and uses or integrates its contact tracing with staysafe.ph.
DILG awarded the two police offices with the Seal on Aug. 13.
“Prior to the validation, initial evaluation was made through documents submitted in accordance with the requirements/parameters set. We followed the guidelines especially washing areas, wearing of facemasks and face shields. We also underwent vaccination,” acording to IPPO director, Police Colonel Gilbert Gorero.
He received the Safety Seal from Teodora Sumagaysay, DILG-Iloilo director.
