ILOILO City – The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) is asking help from barangay officials and tanods in patrolling the city.

The police could not cover all areas, explained Police Colonel Leo Batiles, city police director.

ICPO made the appeal following a series of peace and order-related incidents involving persons drinking alcoholic beverages.

Batiles said policemen patrolling the barangays almost always encounter rowdy drunk people following the easing of coronavirus disease 2019 restrictions./PN
